Philosophical Stuff

It seems we always have the answers to everyone elses problems except our own.

So here are some of those answers with the intent to tell you what you already know.

This page is evolving, with new sayings added, and decrepit ones taken out.

• A process can only be understood from within.
• A real friend isn't someone you use once and throw away.
  A real friend is someone you can use over and over again.

• A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.
• All dreams carry within them the power to make them come true. You will have to work for it however.
• All the world is a stage -- and most people are desperately unrehearsed.
• All things considered, insanity may be the only reasonably alternative.
• All you need is a little theory and a lot of practice. It shouldn't take you very long.
• Always bow to the inevitable, and then you can continue to dance.
• An action can never be wasted, for it is the doing not the receiving that gives it its value.
• Argue for your limitations and you get to keep them.
• Asking the same question will yield the same answer.

• Coincidence is Fate's way of being subtle.
• Coincidence is made possible by our belief that things are unrelated.
• Death is the last frost of winter. Birth, the first bloom of spring.
• Do not fear the path you have chosen.
  You are always free to change your mind and choose a different future or a different past.
• Do not involve in the process what you do not want involved in the outcome.
• Do not take life too seriously - you'll never get out of it alive...
• Do not turn away from possible futures until you are sure that you have nothing further to learn from them.
• Do or Do Not. There is no try.
• Don't be irresponsible. Just get out of control.
• Don't explain. If it was hard to do then it should be hard to understand.
• Everything written here may be wrong.
• Everything that you know, all that you understand is real. Never doubt what you believe.
• Everything in your life exists because you have allowed it in.

• Some things, one must do alone.
• Some things will continue to be impossible as long as those who are now possible remain possible.
• Strength is the measure of your ability to support separation.
• That which does not kill me, makes me smarter.
• That which Is does not need to be done.
• The Universe does not have laws, it has habits. And habits can be broken.
• The border between the Real and the Unreal is not fixed, but simply marks the last place where rival Shamans fought each other to a standstill.
• The end only justifies the means when nobody can determine how it was done.
• The fool fears what he does not understand, or cannot control.
• The future only matters when you plan on spending your life there.

• You have your whole life to live before you die. Waste none of it.
• You must do what you do without expectation of results.
• You need not practice what you preach, if you are not the type of person you preach to.
• You shall know a tree by the fruit it bears.
• Your conscience is the measure of the honesty of your selfishness.
